THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE A. RAJASHEKER REDDY WRIT PETITION No.4706 of 2019 ORDER:

This writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, for the following relief:

"....to issue appropriate Writ or direction, more particularly one in the nature Writ of Mandamus, to declare the action of the respondents herein not taking steps to trace out the women missing though 4 months overed in FIR.No.883 of 2018, U/s Women Missing, Date:28-10-2018 registered before the 4th respondent police station, as being illegal, arbitrary and unjust, and consequently to direct the respondents herein forthwith trace out the missing women in FIR.No.883 of 2018, U/s Women Missing, Date:28-10-2018, and to grant such other relief or reliefs as this Hon'ble Court deems fit and proper in the circumstances of the case."

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home.

Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home produced written instructions stating that on 01.04.2019, the missing woman, by name Divya Spandana, came to the police station along with her parents and stated that she went to her uncle Bodigatal Nagaraju for getting some treatment and that after getting treatment she came back to her parents' house. He further states that the Station House Officer recorded the statement of Divya Spandana and after obtaining permission from the Assistant Commissioner of Police, Balanagar, on 15.06.2019, referred the case as 'action dropped'. He further states

that a copy of notice was also served on the petitioner informing the same and final report was filed before the XXI Metropolitan Magistrate, Medcal on 17.-05.2019 as 'action dropped'. 4.

Recording the aforesaid submission, this writ petition is disposed of.
