THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE SANJAY KUMAR WRIT PETITION No.32798 of 2011 ORDER:

The grievance of the petitioner in this case was that the police authorities were not providing protection to her for performing her duties as a Muzawar at Dargah Hazarath Baji Saheed, Peddakakani Village and Mandal, Guntur District, pursuant to the proceedings dated 25.01.2008.

Sri Shafath Ahmed Khan, learned Standing Counsel for the 2nd respondent - Wakf Board, informed this Court that the proceedings dated 25.01.2008 under which the petitioner was seeking rights was set aside by a learned Single Judge of this Court by common order dated 24.02.2012 passed in W.P.Nos.34632 of 2011 and 23335 of 2012. He further states that the said common order was confirmed by a Division Bench of this Court on 03.07.2012 in W.A.Nos.392 and 394 of 2012.

In that view of the matter, the prayer of the petitioner for police protection in the context of the proceedings dated 25.01.2008 does not survive for consideration.

The writ petition is accordingly dismissed.

Pending Miscellaneous Petitions shall also stand dismissed. No order as to costs.
