THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE RAMESH RANGANATHAN AND THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE SURESH KUMAR KAIT WRIT PETITION No.14833 of 2016 ORDER: (Per Hon'ble Sri Justice Ramesh Ranganathan) The petitioner has invoked the extraordinary jurisdiction of this Court under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, though they have an effective alternative remedy of an appeal to the Appellate Deputy Commissioner under Section 31 of the AP VAT Act. We, therefore, see no reason to exercise the extraordinary jurisdiction under Article 226 of the Constitution of India.

The writ petition fails and is, accordingly, dismissed. Needless to state that this order shall not preclude the petitioner from availing the statutory remedy of appeal.
