This Criminal Revision Case, under Sections 397 & 401 of Cr.P.C., is filed by the petitioner, aggrieved by the order, dated 29.01.2017, passed in Crl.M.P.No.8 of 2018 in Crl.A.No.105 of 2015, by the III Additional Sessions Judge, Karimnagar, whereby, the petition filed by the petitioner under Section 320 Cr.P.C. seeking permission to compound the offence punishable under Section 354 of I.P.C., was dismissed stating that the said petition was not maintainable.

As seen from the material placed on record, the petitioner/ accused is convicted and sentenced for the offence punishable under Section 354 of I.P.C. The offence under Section 354 of I.P.C. is not compoundable. The Court below rightly negated the relief sought by the petitioner/ accused. There is no infirmity in the impugned order. There is no miscarriage of justice. The Criminal Revision Case is devoid of merit and is liable to be dismissed.

Accordingly, the Criminal Revision Case is dismissed. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this Criminal Revision Case, shall stand closed.
