HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE S.V. BHATT W.P.No.7664 OF 2013 ORDER:

Against the proceedings impugned in the writ petition, admittedly a revision in petition No.2167 of 2013 is pending before the Joint Collector, Mahabubabad.

Mr.Lakshikanth submits that the revision is heard and reserved for orders.

The issue arises under the A.P. Rights in Land and Pattadar Passbooks Act, 1971 (for short 'the Act'). Having regard to the scope of revision under Section 9 of the Act and also after taking note of the fact that the revision is heard and reserved for orders, I am not inclined to keep the writ petition pending, but, however, dispose of the writ petition with the following directions: (i) The Joint Collector, Mahabubabad is directed to dispose of revision petition No.2167 of 2013 within six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order; (ii) The parties are given liberty to file copy of this order for timely disposal;

(iii) The interim order granted on 20.03.2013 is directed to be continued.

There shall no order as to costs.

Consequently, pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, also stand disposed of.
