With the consent of learned counsel for the petitioners as well as learned Government Pleader for respondents, this Writ Petition is disposed of at the admission stage.
The petitioners claim to be the owners of certain plots in Survey No.766/1, Hanamkonda Revenue Village, Warangal District, which is within the limits of Greater Warangal Municipal Corporation. They contend that they have constructed tin roofed shed and compound wall upto 5 feet in their land. While so, notices were issued to the petitioners on 09.06.2015 to remove the said construction. The petitioners claimed to have submitted their explanation on 17.06.2015. Alleging that though no orders are passed thereon, the officials of the respondent-Corporation are taking coercive steps to demolish said constructions, this Writ Petition is filed. Learned Standing Counsel appearing for respondent No.1, on instructions, submits that no action is proposed as alleged and that the explanation submitted by them will be considered and disposed of in due course.
Recording the same, this Writ Petition is disposed of directing the respondent-Corporation to pass appropriate orders, as warranted by law after considering the explanation submitted by the petitioners on 17.06.2015. Till the orders are passed, petitioners as well as respondent-Corporation, shall maintain status quo obtaining as on today. No costs. Consequently, Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed.
