HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE M. SEETHARAMA MURTI MACMA.No.356 of 2015 JUDGMENT:

The matter has been settled before the Lok Adalat and an Award has been passed by the Lok Adalat Bench at Hyderabad. The said Award is placed on record.

Perusal of the said Award reflects that though the learned counsel for the 2nd respondent-Insurance Company did not appear before the Lok Adalat, the Legal Manager of The New India Assurance Company Limited / appellant had appeared before the Lok Adalat and after the matter is amicably settled, the Adalat Bench presided over by a Chairman, who is a former Judge of this Court, had passed an Award. The identity and authority of the Legal Manager, who had appeared before the Adalat, is not in dispute.

In view of the above, the MACMA is disposed of in terms of the Award of the Lok Adalat Bench at Hyderabad.

Miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, in this appeal shall stand closed.
