This Criminal Petition, under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973, is filed by the petitioners/ A.1 and A.2 to quash the proceedings in Crime No.213 of 2018 of Shamirpet Police Station, Cyberabad District, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 341, 504, 307, 385 and 379 of IPC. 2.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioners/ A.1 and A.2, learned Additional Public Prosecutor for respondent No.1-State and perused the record.

Learned counsel for the petitioners would submit that there are no grounds to proceed with the investigation against the petitioners.

As per the First Information Report, specific and grave allegations constituting the alleged offences have been levelled against the petitioners. Hence, it is not a fit case to consider the request of the petitioners to quash the proceedings. 5.

After arguing at length, learned counsel for the petitioners seeks permission of this Court to withdraw the criminal petition. 6.
