THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE P.NAVEEN RAO WRIT PETITION No.32983 OF 2016 ORDER :

Heard. With the consent of both the parties, this writ petition is disposed of at the admission stage.

This writ petition is filed to declare the inaction of the 2nd respondent in not initiating any enquiry and completing the same as per the direction of this Hon'ble Court in W.P.No.18557 of 2016 dated 15.06.2016 and continuing the petitioners in suspension from 07.06.2016 as illegal, arbitrary, violative of the orders of this Court and violation of Articles 14, 19 and 21 of the Constitution of India, and consequently to set aside the proceedings in Lr.No.76/SYPD/2016-1 dated 07.06.2016 issued by the 2nd respondent suspending the petitioners.

When the matter is taken up, learned Government Pleader, produced the report of the Assistant Commissioner & Executive Officer, Sri Yellamma Pochamma Devasthanam, Balkampet, Hyderabad, on the charges framed against the petitioners, submitted to the Commissioner of Endowments. Learned Government Pleader submits that if sufficient time is granted, the entire process would be completed and disciplinary proceedings will be concluded.

Having regard to the said submission, the Writ Petition is disposed of, directing the Commissioner of Endowments to finalise the disciplinary proceedings, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of communication of this order by the Executive Officer, Sri Yellamma

Pochamma Devasthanam, Balkampet, Hyderabad (2nd respondent). The 2nd respondent is directed to place this order before the Commissioner of Endowments, within one week from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

It is needless to observe that if the petitioners are aggrieved by any decision, it is open to them to avail the remedies as available in law. There shall be no order as to costs.

Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed.
