THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.V. SESHA SAI WRIT PETITION No.3549 OF 2016 ORDER:
This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for the following relief:
"to issue an order/direction or writ more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus declaring the Office Order No:HR/1601/201516/4787, Dated 23.01.2016 issued by the 2nd respondent promoting/ posting the 3rd respondent as In-charge Executive Engineer, Nellore Division as illegal, arbitrary, against the principles of natural justice, in violation of Articles 14 & 16 of the Constitution of India and consequently set aside the same directing the respondents 1 & 2 herein to post the petitioners as In-charge Executive Engineers in the existing vacancies with all attendant benefits and pass such other order/s as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper in the circumstances of the case."
2. When the matter is called, it is represented by the learned Standing Counsel for the State Road Transport Corporation that pending writ petition, by virtue of Office Order No.HR/1601/2015-16/4955, dated 10.02.2016, issued by the Vice Chairman and Managing Director, the order impugned in the writ petition has been withdrawn. Therefore, nothing survives in the writ petition for adjudication.
3. In view of the same, Writ Petition is closed. Miscellaneous petitions pending consideration, if any, in the Writ Petition shall stand closed in consequence. No order as to costs.
