THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE A.V.SESHA SAI WRIT PETITION No.33200 OF 2017 ORDER:

This writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking the following relief: "to issue an appropriate Writ, Order or direction more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the respondents in not considering the petitioner's representation dated 26-09-2017 for renewal/revival of TFT licence, as illegal, arbitrary, contrary to law and violation of principles of natural justice and consequently direct the respondents to renew/revive the petitioner's TFT licence bearing counter No.73/6, in respect of Toddy shop of Zapthi Shivnoor Village, Narsingi (China Shankarampet) Mandal, Medak District, for further period of five (5) Years from 01-10-2017 to 30-09-2022, to meet the ends of justice." 2.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader for Prohibition and Excise appearing for the respondents.

When the matter is taken up, it is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that for redressal of grievance of the petitioner herein, the petitioner submitted a representation to respondent No.2 on 26.09.2017 but no action has been taken on the same. Eventually, it is submitted by the learned counsel that the said representation may be directed to be considered by respondent No.2 strictly in accordance with law.

On the other hand, it is submitted by the learned Government Pleader that the representation said to have been submitted by the petitioner herein will be verified and considered and appropriate action will be taken strictly in accordance with law.

In view of the above, the Writ Petition is disposed of, without expressing any opinion on merits in the matter, directing respondent No.2 to consider and pass appropriate orders on the representation, dated 26.09.2017, said to have been submitted by the petitioner herein strictly in accordance with law within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. There shall be no order as to costs.

Miscellaneous Petitions pending consideration, if any, in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
