HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE C. PRAVEEN KUMAR WRIT PETITION No. 41078 OF 2015 ORDER:

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Government Pleader for Revenue. With the consent of both parties, the present Writ Petition is disposed of at the admission stage itself. The present Writ Petition is filed seeking to declare the action of the sixth respondent in not carrying out amendments in record of rights as required under Section 5(4) of the A.P.Rights in Land and Pattadar Pass Book Act, 1971, without following due process of law, inspite of various representations made by the petitioner as illegal and arbitrary.

Though various grounds are raised in the Writ Petition, learned counsel for the petitioner restricts his prayer seeking a direction to the sixth respondent to pass appropriate orders, on the representation dated 15.03.2015 made by the petitioner. Learned Government Pleader for revenue submits that pursuant to the said representation, notices were issued and the same is reflected in the affidavit. Having regard to the above and without going into merits of the case, the sixth respondent is directed to pass appropriate orders on the representation dated 15.03.2015 made by the petitioner, as early as possible, preferably within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, in accordance with law,.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, the Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed. _______________________________ JUSTICE C. PRAVEEN KUMAR 06.01.2016 vhb
