Heard Sri K. Srinivas, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader for Panchayat Raj-R.1 & R.2.

2. The petitioner was appointed as Field Assistant in the office of the 4th respondent. Basing on the report of the social audit dated 11.01.2010 stating that the petitioner misappropriated an amount of Rs.7,495/-, a show cause notice dated 25.05.2012 was issued to the

petitioner, for which she submitted written explanation. According to the petitioner, without considering her written explanation, the 3rd respondent passed impugned order dated 11.08.2014 removing the petitioner from service. Against the said order, the petitioner preferred an appeal to the District Collector, Ananthapuramu-2nd respondent on 15.09.2014, which is pending now. The main grievance of the petitioner is that the removal order was passed without considering her explanation and without conducting any enquiry.

3. Since the appeal is pending before the District Collector, I am not inclined to go in to the merits of the case. In the circumstances, the 2nd respondent-District Collector, Ananthapuram District, is directed to dispose of the appeal of the petitioner dated 15.09.2014, within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, by considering the contentions raised by the petitioner that she was removed from service without considering her explanation and without conducting any enquiry.

4. The writ petition is accordingly disposed of. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, in this writ petition, shall stand closed. No order as to costs.
