THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE C. PRAVEEN KUMAR WRIT PETITION No.21953 of 2017 ORDER:

Heard both sides.

2.

The present writ petition came to be filed seeking issuance of writ of Mandamus declaring the action of respondent No.3 in calling the petitioner to the III Town Police Station, Karimnagar, without there being any crime registered against the petitioner, as illegal and arbitrary. 3.

At the time when the matter is taken up for hearing, learned Government Pleader denied the allegations made in the writ affidavit. On telephonic instructions, she submits that the respondent police are not summoning/calling the petitioner to the police station. The said fact is seriously opposed by the learned counsel for the petitioner. 4.

Having regard to the statements made across the Bar, the writ petition is disposed of directing the respondent-police not to summon the petitioner to the police station, more particularly, by the III Town Police Station, Karimnagar, without any crime being registered against him. If the respondent-police intend to take any action or summon the petitioner, the same shall be in accordance with the procedure established by law. No costs.

As a sequel thereto, Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition, shall stand closed.
