Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Government Pleader for Revenue appearing for the respondents.

2. The petitioner states that he is the owner of land admeasuring Acs.3.08 cents in R.S.No.538/20 of Gollapalem Village, Malkipuram Mandal, East Godavari District. He intended to sell the land to an extent of Ac.0.20 cents in Survey No.538/2 to some third party and had presented the sale deed to respondents 2 and 3, but respondents 2 and 3 are refusing to receive the same for the purpose of registration.

3. The Government Pleader for Revenue appearing for the respondents states that respondents 2 and 3 would receive the document presented by the petitioner for the purpose of registration and if they do not wish to register it, they would pass orders under Section 71 of the Registration Act, 1908 (for short, 'the Act') giving reasons therefor.

4. In view of the said submission, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing respondents 2 and 3 to receive the document presented by the petitioner for the purpose of registration and if they do not wish to register it, they are directed to pass orders under Section 71 of the Act giving reasons therefor and communicate their decision to the petitioner. There shall be no order as to costs.

5. Consequently, the Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
