This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a mandamus to declare the action of the 3rd respondent in calling the petitioners to the Police Station, though they are not involved in any crime, as arbitrary and illegal.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioners.

Learned Government Pleader for Home (Andhra Pradesh), on oral instructions, submits that the 3rd respondent police never called the petitioners to the Police Station, as alleged by them. She further submits that if the presence of the petitioners is required in connection with any crime, the respondent police will follow the procedure prescribed by law.

Recording the said written instructions, the Writ Petition is closed. No costs.

Consequently, the miscellaneous Applications, if any shall stand closed.
