THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE M.SATYANARAYANA MURTHY CRIMINAL REVISION CASE No.2259 of 2017 ORDER:

This revision is preferred under Sections 397 and 401 of Code of Criminal Procedure (fort short "Cr.P.C.") questioning the legality of the order dated 09.05.2017 passed in Criminal Appeal No.410 of 2015 by the Additional Metropolitan Sessions Judge for Trial of Communal Offence Cases - cum - VII Additional Metropolitan Sessions Judge, Hyderabad, wherein the order dated 30.04.2015 passed in C.C.No.127 of 2013 by the XVI Special Magistrate, Hyderabad was confirmed.

The revision petitioner was found guilty for the offence punishable under Section 138 of Negotiable Instruments Act and convicted and sentenced to pay fine of Rs.3,80,000/- only. Sri C.Sharan Reddy, learned counsel for the petitioner, requested this Court to grant three (3) months time for the petitioner to pay the fine amount of Rs.3,80,000/-. Therefore, acceding to the request of the learned counsel for the petitioner, three (3) months time is granted to the petitioner for paying fine amount. In case, the petitioner did not pay the fine amount within three (3) months from today the trial Court can proceed to recover the same as per the procedure contemplated under law.

With the above observation, the revision is disposed of. The miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall also stand closed.
