This criminal petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C. to quash the proceedings against the petitioner/Accused in Crime No.157 of 2009 on the file of the Station House Officer, Dammapeta Police Station, Khammam District.

2. On 12.11.2014, this court directed the petitioner to serve the notice on the first respondent by registered post with acknowledgment due. In spite of the direction of this court, the petitioner has not taken any steps to serve the notice on the first respondent. It seems that the petitioner is not interested to prosecute the case. 3.
