Heard the counsel for petitioner, and the learned Government Pleader for Revenue for 1st respondent.

This contempt case is filed alleging willful disobedience of the order dt.17.11.2014 passed in WPMP.No.39887 of 2014 in WP.No.31915 of 2014.

In that order, this Court directed the respondents to grant interim custody of the vehicle to petitioner subject to the petitioner giving an undertaking as mentioned therein.

It is not in dispute that the said undertaking affidavit was given by petitioner only on 28.05.2015, and thereafter, the vehicle in question was released to petitioner on 29.05.2015. 5.

In this view of the matter, it cannot be said that the respondents have committed any disobedience of the above order passed by this Court. Accordingly, the Contempt Case is dismissed. No order as to costs.

As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions pending if any in this Contempt Case, shall stand closed.
