THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE M.S.RAMACHANDRA RAO WRIT PETITION No.17421 of 2012 ORDER :

The petitioner has challenged the inaction of the respondents in not regularizing the plot bearing No.3 situated in Sy.Nos. 817 to 822, 824 to 826 of Uppal Kalan, Uppal Mandal, Ranga Reddy District.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner contends that petitioner had made an application on 16.03.2012 seeking regularization of the above plot to the first respondent as per G.O.Ms.No.747 Revenue (U.C.-I) Department, dated 18.06.2008. He further contends that the said application is not being taken up by the respondents even though it is filed 4 years back.

Learned Government Pleader for Revenue appearing for respondents states that the file relating to petitioner's application had been submitted to the Chief Commissioner of Land Administration, Andhra Pradesh, Hyderabad on 03.09.2012 and 08.01.2013, but the said office had returned the same and directed it to be submitted afresh with the recommendations of the District Level Screening Committee, Ranga Reddy district. He further states that recently G.O.Ms.No.157 dated 14.06.2016 was issued by the Government of Telangana delegating the powers for regularizing the Ceiling Surplus Land to the Collector, Ranga Reddy Distrct and that proposal for regularizing the petitioner's

surplus land will be now submitted to the Collector, Ranga Reddy District.

Having regard to the said submissions, this Writ Petition is disposed of directing the Collector, Ranga Reddy District to consider the petitioner's application dated 16.03.2012 seeking regularization of the subject land in terms of G.O.Ms No.157 dated 14.06.2016 and G.O.Ms.No.747 Revenue (U.C.-I) Department, dated 18.06.2008 within four (04) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate this decision thereon to the petitioner. No costs.

Consequently, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand dismissed.
