ORDER

This writ petition is filed seeking to declare the action of the 1st respondent in not allowing the petitioners to appear for written test/interview for selection and appointment to the post of Junior Attendant (Electrical) as arbitrary and illegal. The petitioners registered their names in the District Employment Exchange, Vijayawada, Krishna District. The 1st respondent wanted to recruit qualified people for the posts of Junior Attendant (Electrical) through the 2nd respondent. As per the requisition from the 1st respondent, the 2nd respondent sent a list of candidates.

The grievance of the petitioners is that though they were fully eligible and qualified, the 2nd respondent did not sponsor their names.

While admitting the writ petition on 28.8.2007, this Court granted interim direction as sought for by the petitioners. In view of the same, nothing survives for adjudication in this writ petition.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs.
