This Criminal Petition is filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (for short 'Cr.P.C.') by the petitioners/accused Nos.1 and 2 seeking to quash the proceedings against them in C.C.No.104 of 2017 on the file of IX Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Nampally, Hyderabad.
2. On instructions and as per the e-courts case status information, learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that during the pendency of this criminal petition, the trial Court has disposed off the case by way of settlement before Lok-adalath on L0.07.202L. Hence, the prayer sought for in the present petition has become infructuous.
3. In view of the aforesaid submission, since the very purpose of filing this criminal petition has already been fulfilled and no cause survives in this criminal petition and thereby the Criminal Petition has become infructuous and liable to be dismissed.
