wp_13655_1999 ORDER: (per Hon'ble Sri Justice C.V.Nagarjuna Reddy) This Writ Petition is filed for the following substantive relief: "For the reasons stated in the accompanying affidavit, the above named petitioner prays that this Hon'ble Court may be pleased to issue a Writ in the nature of Writ of Mandamus or any other appropriate Writ, Order or direction, directing the respondents to treat the period between 08-10-1987 to 11-06-1995 as 'On Duty' under F.R. 54 (1) & (2) and direct the respondents to permit the petitioner to voluntarily retire from service as per his application dt. 29-12-1998; and to pass such other order or orders as this Hon'ble Court deems fit and proper in the interest of justice."

At the hearing, there is no representation for the petitioners. Hence, the Writ Petition is dismissed for non-prosecution. 3.
As a sequel to dismissal of the Writ Petition, interim order granted on 19-07-1999 in W.P.M.P.No. 16723 of 1999 stands vacated and W.P.M.P.No. 4108 of 2000 shall stand dismissed as infructuous. . ________________________ C.V.NAGARJUNA REDDY, J.
