THE HON'BLE Dr . JUSTI CE SHAMEEM AKTHER Cr im in al Pet it ion No.1 4 6 6 of 2 0 1 8 ORDER:

This Criminal Petition, under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973, is filed by the petitioner/ father of the victim girl, seeking to a direction to the learned IV Additional Metropolitan Sessions Judge, Hyderabad, to give custody of the 2nd respondent herein/ victim girl to him.

2 .

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner, learned Assistant Public Prosecutor representing the 1st respondent-State and perused the record.

3 .

The petitioner herein is the father of the 2nd respondent herein/ victim girl. On 14.04.2017 at 07: 00 PM, when the police conducted a raid on a brothel house at premises No.7-1-391/ 1, beside Sai Residency, Balkampet, S.R.Nagar, Hyderabad, they apprehended the 2nd respondent herein/ victim girl. The 2nd respondent herein is said to be a female sex worker. She was rescued and is put in the Rescue Home. Now the father of the 2nd respondent/ victim girl wants her custody. 4 .

The father of the 2nd respondent/ victim girl is also responsible for making the 2nd respondent/ victim girl as a female sex worker. It appears that he did not take proper care of the victim girl. Giving custody of the 2nd respondent/ victim girl to the petitioner jeopardises her interest and future prospects. The Court below, while dealing with the application for grant of

custody of the victim girl to the petitioner herein, has taken all the factors into consideration and analysed the circumstances and passed a reasoned order. This Court does not see any reason to interfere with the same. The Criminal Petition is devoid of merit and is liable to be dismissed. 5 .

Accordingly, The Criminal Petition is dismissed. Pending Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, shall stand closed. _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ Dr . SHAMEEM AKTHER, J 09th February, 2018 Bvv
