Thakur Narayan Singh v. The State Of Telangana
HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE VILAS V.AFZULPURKAR W.P.No.29534 of 2015 ORDER:
Heard.
The petitioners have preferred an appeal under Section 5(5) of the A.P.Rights in Land and Pattadar Pass Books Act, 1971 and it is stated to be pending before the 3rd respondent since 17-08-2015. In the said appeal, the petitioners have also filed an application seeking stay. Alleging that no date is notified for hearing of the appeal or the stay application, the present writ petition is filed. Learned counsel for the petitioners states that there is urgency in the matter, as the order of the 2nd respondent bearing Proceedings No.B1/2445/2014, dated 2002-2015 would cause hardship to him and atleast as an interim measure, appropriate order is required to be passed by the 3rd respondent.
Considering the grievance of the petitioners, I deem it appropriate to direct the 3rd respondent to fix an early date of hearing and pass appropriate orders atleast to the extent of stay application filed in the appeal, within one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The 3rd respondent is also at liberty to hear and dispose of the said appeal as expeditiously as possible. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs. Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed.
