THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE RAJA ELANGO WRIT PETITION No.30773 of 2016 ORDER:
This writ petition under Article 226 of Constitution of India is filed seeking a direction to the 5th respondent to proceed with the investigation in F.I.R. No.184 of 2016 in proper manner and take action against the accused therein.
The grievance of the petitioner is that on a complaint filed by her, initially, the 4th respondent, registered a case in F.I.R. No.184 of 2016 on 2.7.2016 for the offences under Sections 366, 376, 498-A, 506 r/w 34 IPC and Sections 3 & 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act and upon her representation, as per the directions of 2nd respondent, 5th respondent re-registered the case and took up the investigation, but however, not conducting the investigation in the proper manner. Considering the grievance of the petitioner, the 5th respondent is directed to complete the investigation in F.I.R. No.184 of 2016 as expeditiously as possible and file a final report, if any, either way in accordance with law.
Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs. Pending Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, shall stand closed. _________________ RAJA ELANGO,J 18.10.2016.
