Petitioners have filed this Writ Petition alleging that there are vacancies in the 1st respondent-Devasthanam in the posts of Senior Assistants and Superintendents and that the 1st respondent had addressed letters dt.02.09.2015 and 20.10.2016 seeking permission from the 2nd respondent for filling up the said vacancies, but the 2nd respondent has not communicated any decision in that regard to the 1st respondent. 2.

The Government Pleader for Endowments appearing for respondents 2 and 3 states that the 2nd respondent will take a decision on the communication received from the 1st respondent referred to above within a period of four (04) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the same to the 1st respondent.

In view of the above submission, this Writ Petition is disposed of directing the 2nd respondent to take a decision on the communication received from the 1st respondent on 02.09.2015 and 20.10.2016 within a period of four (04) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the same to the 1st respondent. There shall be no order as to costs.

Consequently, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
