In the present Writ Petition the petitioner is claiming payment of pension consequent to the death of her husband, who worked under the control of the District Medical and Health Officer, Guntur, Andhra Pradesh.

Since this is a service matter relating to the employee of Medical and Health Department, the Andhra Pradesh Administrative Tribunal is having jurisdiction to take up this matter.

The Writ Petition is, therefore, dismissed giving liberty to the petitioner to approach the Andhra Pradesh Administrative Tribunal. The miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
