HONOURABLE Dr. JUSTICE B.SIVA SANKARA RAO Crl.P.No.9083 of 2015 ORDER :

This petition is filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure (for short, 'the CrPC') by the Petitioner-accused to quash the proceedings in C.C.No.551 of 2015 on the file of the X Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Secunderabad, taken cognizance for the offence punishable under Section 324 of I.P.C. on the report of the 2nd respondent-defacto-complainant.

2. Pending disposal of the criminal petition, both the parties present before the Court and the defacto-complainant filed petitions seeking to permit him to compound the offence in the above case and quash the proceedings as they have settled their disputes between them amicably with the intervention of elders. By virtue of the compromise between the parties and as they want to purchase peace, they are permitted to compound the offences supra in the interest of justice.

3. Accordingly, the Criminal Petition is allowed and all the proceedings in C.C.No.551 of 2015 on the file of the X Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Secunderabad, are quashed. The bail bonds of the petitioners, if any, shall stand cancelled.

4. Miscellaneous petitions, if any pending, in this Criminal Petition shall stand closed.
