This writ petition was filed for the following relief: "to issue an order or writ one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of respondents 2 and 3 in seeking to forfeit Rs.90,00,000/- paid by the petitioner, even before considering his representation dated 16.03.2009 by respondent No.1 for grant of instalments to pay the lease amount, in respect of reach Nos.6 and 7, Kolluru and Juvalapalem villages, Kolluru Mandal, Guntur District, pursuant to order of respondent No.3 made in letter No.984/SAND/2009(R-6&7) dated 16.03.2009 as arbitrary, illegal, unjust, violative of order of this Hon'ble Court dated 19.03.2009 made in W.P.M.P.No.7358 of 2009 in W.P.No.5626 of 2009, violative of the A.P.

Minor Mineral Concession Rules, 1966, violative of the fundamental rights guaranteed to the petitioner under Articles 14 and 19 of the Constitution of India and consequently direct the respondents 2 and 3 not to forfeit the amount paid by the petitioner till respondent No.1 takes appropriate decision." This Court granted interim direction on 23.03.2009. In the meanwhile, the lease period had expired.

In the circumstances, nothing survives for adjudication in this writ petition, and accordingly, this Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. No order as to costs.

Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
