Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri Chatla Madhu, l/ the learned Standing Counsel for GHMC for the respondent. With their consent, the Writ Petition is disposed of at the stage of admission itself. The main grievance of the petitioner in this writ petition is that the respondent-Corporation is not considering the representation made by her 0n 19.10.2020 seeking mutation of her name in the Municipal Records. The learned Standing Counsel, on instructions, states that clue to Covid-19 pandemlc situation and various administrative exigencies, the representation dated 19.10.2020 submitted by the petitioner could not be considered and seeks some time for passing necessary orders on the said representation.

In view of the above submission, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the competent authority to consider the representation dated 19.10.2020 made by the petitioner and pass necessary orders thereon, strictly in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible, preferably, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. It is needless to mention that before passing any orders, the competent authority shall afford an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner. A copy of the order that may be passed by the competent authority shall be communicated to the petitioner. The miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
