Heard the learned counsel for petitioner and the learned Government Pleader for Revenue appearing for respondents.

2. Petitioner's grievance is that the petitioner's land has been submerged by the formation of Alugu mud and soil from a nearby Kannelavagu tank constructed in 1984 rendering his land useless.

Petitioner claims to have made representation dt.12-09-2011 to the District Collector, Y.S.R. Kadapa District seeking compensation for the land alleging that similarly displaced persons were granted such compensation in the year 2007.

Learned counsel for petitioner submits that petitioner's representation has not been considered by the District Collector, Y.S.R. Kadapa District even though considerable time has elapsed since it was given to the District Collector.

Learned Government Pleader for Revenue appearing for respondents states that the District Collector, Y.S.R. Kadapa District will pass orders on the petitioner's representation within eight (08) weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order and communicate it to the petitioner.

6. In view of the said submission, this Writ Petition is disposed of directing the District Collector, Y.S.R. Kadapa District to consider the petitioner's representation within eight

(08) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate it to the petitioner. No costs.

As a sequel, the miscellaneous petitions, if any pending, shall stand closed.
