HON'BLE SRI JUSTI CE A. RAMALI NGESWARA RAO Writ Petition No.12203 of 2017 Order:

The grievance of the petitioners in the present Writ Petition is that the police are calling them to the Police Station and harassing them without following due process of law pursuant to registration of FIR No.2 of 2017 under Sections 498-A, 506 read with Section 34 IPC and Sections 3 and 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.

Since the grievance of the petitioners is with regard to the observance of rule of law, as stipulated in the Code of Criminal Procedure and the decisions of the Hon'ble Supreme Court, this Writ Petition is disposed of directing the third respondent to follow due process of law, including compliance with Section 41-A Cr.P.C., while investigating Crime No.2 of 2017 registered by him.

In view of disposal of the Writ Petition as aforesaid, notice to the fourth respondent is dispensed with.
