Heard counsel for petitioner, the Government Pleader for Panchayat Raj appearing for 1st respondent, Sri M.S.R.Chandra Murthy, Standing counsel appearing for 2nd respondent and Sri G.Sheshadri, Standing Counsel appearing for 3rd respondent. 2.
Petitioner has filed this Writ Petition contending that the 2nd respondent has placed him under suspension pending enquiry on 18.09.2017, but till date no enquiry proceedings have been commenced and this action of the 2nd respondent is arbitrary, illegal and violative of Article 14 of the Constitution of India. 3.
Sri M.S.R.Chandra Murthy, Standing counsel appearing for 2nd respondent states that the 2nd respondent will initiate and complete the disciplinary proceedings/enquiry into the allegations against the petitioner within a period of three (03) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate his decision to the petitioner.

In view of the said submissions, this Writ Petition is disposed of directing the 2nd respondent to initiate and complete the disciplinary proceedings/enquiry into the allegations against the petitioner, after complying with principles of natural justice, within a period of three (03) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate his decision to the petitioner. There shall be no order as to costs.

Consequently, Miscellaneous Petitions pending if any, shall stand closed.
