This Writ Petition is filed to declare the action of the 2nd respondent in not calling the petitioner for the interview and not permitting him to appear in the selection process to the post of Junior Linemen as illegal and arbitrary and also sought consequential direction to permit him to participate in the selection process.

This Court has not granted interim direction in this writ petition.

Learned standing counsel appearing for the respondent - Company informs the Court that the entire selection process was completed long ago and appointments were also made. 4.

In view of the same, the cause in the Writ Petition does not survive for adjudication and the same has become infructuous. 5.

The Writ Petition is accordingly dismissed. There shall be no order as to costs. Pending Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, shall stand closed.
