HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE U.DURGA PRASAD RAO WRIT PETITION No.9488 OF 2016 ORDER:
Heard learned counsel for petitioner and respondents. Both the counsel would submit that let the petitioner be given specific time for applying for the license(s) as laid down under the Food Safety and Standards Act, 2006 and subsequent Regulations thereto and also the necessary license(s) from the concerned local authorities to enable the petitioner to run its unit.
In view of the above submission, this writ petition is disposed of, directing the petitioner to apply for necessary license(s) in terms of the Food Safety and Standards Act, 2006 and the subsequent Regulations thereto and also the necessary license(s) from the concerned authorities, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, to run its unit. If the petitioner fails to comply with the above condition, the concerned authorities are at liberty to proceed with against the petitioner as per law.
