THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.V.SESHA SAI WRIT PETITION No.10406 of 2017 ORDER:

This Writ Petition is filed for the following relief: "For the reasons stated in the accompanying affidavit, this Hon'ble Court may be pleased to issue an order or direction more particularly one in the nature of writ of mandamus or any other appropriate writ declaring the action of respondent No.2 in not receiving the application, dated 8.3.2017 along with DD for a sum of Rs.2,425/- submitted by the petitioner for granting two new power supply connections to the premises No.SRT592, MCH.No.7-2-847, 1st Floor, Sanathnagar, Hyderabad - 18, is nothing but arbitrary, illegal, null and void and violative of principles of natural justice and also violative of Articles 14, 19 and 21 of the Constitution of India. Consequently, direct the respondents to receive the application submitted by the petitioner dated 8.3.2017 along with DD for a sum of Rs.2,425/- and grant two power supply connections to the premises No.SRT-592, MCH.No.7-2-847, 1st Floor, Sanathnagar, Hyderabad - 18."

When the matter is called, it is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the second respondent is not receiving the application of the petitioner for granting power supply connections to the subject premises.

Despite granting time on previous occasion, no instructions could be received by the learned Standing Counsel. In view of the above, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, this Court deems it appropriate to direct

AVSS, J W.P.No.10406 of 2017 the second respondent to receive the application of the petitioner, examine the same and pass orders thereon in accordance with law, within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

Subject to the above, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. Consequently, Miscellaneous Petitions, if any pending in this Writ Petition, shall stand closed. No order as to costs. _________________ A.V.SESHA SAI, J 17th APRIL, 2017.
