Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader for Home (TG) appearing for the official respondents.

When the matter is taken up, written instructions, dated 09.02.2018, furnished by the Sub-Inspector of Police, Women Police Station, Begumpet, Hyderabad are placed on record by the learned Government Pleader for Home. The said instructions read as under:- "Smt.Rajam Srilatha (wife of the petitioner herein) has approached the police of Women Police Station, Begumpet and lodged a complaint on 5.2.2018 against her husband Mr.Rajam Goutham and her parents-in-law as they subjected her mentally and physically harassing her to bring additional dowry.
Upon receipt of the said complaint, an entry was made into the Station General Diary on 5.2.2018, after enquiry into the petition necessary action will be taken since it is a family dispute. After counseling the parties, this respondent is going to take further course of action. It is pertinent to submit that as of now, no case whatsoever was registered on the file of Women Police Station, Begumpet, Hyderabad City.
It is mandatory on the part of the respondent police, whenever they receive a family dispute petition, firstly counseling shall be made, then, basing on the counseling further course of action will be taken.
On coming to know the lodging of the complaint with the police by his wife, to prevent the police from taking
any action in the event of registration of any case against him, the petitioner on mere apprehension, rushed to this Hon'ble Court and filed the present writ petition with false and frivolous allegations.
It is submitted that basing on the above said complaint of the wife of the petitioner herein, this respondent police called the petitioner for conseling but he did not turned up. After counseling and after enquiry into the petition, further course of action will be taken on the complaint of wife of the petitioner as per law." 3.
On noticing the same, a request is made by the learned counsel for the petitioner to place the said instructions on record and to dispose of the writ petition.

Recording the said submission, the Writ Petition is disposed of, by placing on record the written instructions, dated 09.02.2018, furnished by the Sub-Inspector of Police, Women Police Station, Begumpet, Hyderabad. There shall be no order as to costs. 5.
Miscellaneous Petitions pending, if any, in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
