THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTI CE T.AMARNATH GOUD WRI T PETI TI ON NO. 22934 OF 2015 ORDER:

In this Writ Petition, the petitioners have made serious allegations against the respondents, more particularly, against the 3rd respondent Sri Venkanna Chowdhary, the then Circle Inspector, Kothapeta Police Station, Guntur. A complaint dated 4.7.2015 was submitted before the respondents seeking to take appropriate action against said Venkanna Chowdhary, but no action has been taken. Hence, this Writ Petition came to be filed.

Heard both sides.

This Writ Petition is disposed of directing the 1st respondent to look into the matter and take steps in accordance with law basing on the allegations made in the complaint by the petitioners as expeditiously as possible.

It is needless to observe that this Court, keeping faith on the 1st respondent observes that appropriate action would be initiated against Mr.Venkanna Chowdhary, the then Circle Inspector of Police, if found guilty in the preliminary enquiry by the 1st respondent. Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed. No order as to costs.
