HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE CHALLA KODANDA RAM WRIT PETITION No. 4278 of 2015 ORDER:

Petitioner claims to be owner of lands in Sy.Nos.529-A & 530 admeasuring Ac.6.25 cents and Ac.1.60 cents respectively situated at Yadiki Village and Mandal, Anantapur. His grievance is that respondents are trying to dispossess him from the subject land for laying road without issuing any notice and without following due process of law. Hence the writ petition.

Sri Golla Seshadri, learned Standing Counsel for respondent Nos.3 and 4, on instructions, would submit that, as on date, there is no proposal to lay road in the petitioner's land, and his land would not be interfered with in any manner.

Recording the submission of Sri Golla Seshadri, learned Standing Counsel for respondent Nos.3 and 4, the Writ Petition is closed. In the event, if the petitioner's land is required for the purpose of laying road, the same shall be acquired by following the provisions of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, (Act 30 of 2013) and the Rules made thereunder, and after payment of compensation.
