THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.V.SESHA SAI WRIT PETITION No.28698 of 2017 ORDER:

Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and Sri Pasam Krishna Reddy, learned Standing Counsel for GHMC. This Writ Petition, under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, is filed to declare the action of the respondents in not removing the encroachments on public road in front of the premises of the petitioners, as illegal and arbitrary. When the matter is taken up, it is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioners that, for redressal of their grievance, the petitioners herein submitted a representation on 30.12.2016 to the respondents but no action has been taken on the said representation so far. Learned counsel would request that the respondents herein may be directed to take appropriate action on the said representation in accordance with law.

On the other hand, it is submitted by the learned Standing Counsel that the said representation would be verified and appropriate action would be taken in accordance with law. Recording the said submission, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the Writ Petition, this Writ Petition is disposed of, directing the respondents to verify the representation dated 30.12.

by the petitioners herein, and pass appropriate orders, after giving notice to all the stakeholders, as expeditiously as possible, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

As a sequel, the miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
