The prayer of the petitioners in this case reads as under: "For the reasons stated in the accompanying affidavit, it is hereby prayed that this Hon'ble Court may be pleased to issue writ or direction more particularly one in the nature of writ of mandamus declaring the action of the 4th respondent in not considering the claims of the petitioners in Form6A dt 09 03 2017 for mutation and for issuance of pattadar pass book and Title deed for an extent of land Ac 6 13 Guntas in Sy No 132 Ac 0 03 Guntas in Sy No 249 Ac 0 07 Guntas in Sy No 263 Ac 0 30 Guntas in Sy No 221 Ac 0 09 Guntas in Sy No 279 Ac 7 35 Guntas in Sy No 464 Ac 3 28 Guntas in Sy No 443 and Ac 1 13 Guntas in Sy No 584 situated at Begumpeta revenue Village Ramagiri Mandal Peddapally District is illegal arbitrary and violation of principles of natural justice and Consequently direct the 4th respondent to consider the claims of the petitioners for mutation and issuance of pattadar pass book and Title deed in respect of the above said land and pass such other relief or reliefs as this Honble Court deems fit and proper in the circumstances of the case."

Perusal of the record reflects that the petitioners submitted an application in the prescribed format in Form VI (A) as required by Section 4 of the Telangana Rights in Land and Pattadar Pass Books Act, 1971, read with Rule 18 (2) of the Telangana Rights in Land and Pattadar Pass Books Rules, 1989.

Having received such an application, it is not open to the Tahsildar, Ramagiri Mandal, Peddapally District, to remain somnolent. The Writ Petition is accordingly disposed of directing the Tahsildar, Ramagiri Mandal, Peddapally District, to take appropriate action on the petitioners' application expeditiously and in any event, not later than four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, be it from whatever source.

Pending Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, shall stand closed. No order as to costs.
