THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.V. SESHA SAI WRIT PETITION No.9886 of 2016 ORDER:

This writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking the following relief:

"to issue writ of Mandamus to declare the action of the respondents in not considering the petitioners as contract labourers for the V , VIth and VII stage of KIPS is wholly illegal, arbitrary and contrary to guidelines and law and consequently direct the respondents to consider the petitioners for appointment as Contract Labourers for VII stage of KIPS."

Heard Sri I.V. Radhakrishna Murthy, learned counsel for the petitioners and Smt.K. Udaya Sree, learned Standing Counsel for respondents.

When the matter is taken up, it is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioners that for redressal of the grievance of the petitioners, the petitioners herein submitted a representation on 08-03-2016 to the respondents herein and no orders have been passed on the said representation so far. A request is made by the learned counsel for the petitioners to direct the respondents to pass appropriate orders on the representation, dated 08-03-2016, in accordance with law, by fixing some timeframe. The said request is not opposed by learned Standing Counsel for respondents and submitted that the said representation would be considered, in accordance with law.

For the aforesaid reasons, the writ petition is disposed of, without expressing any opinion on the merits and demerits of the

matter and entitlement of the petitioners, directing the respondents to consider and pass appropriate orders on the representation, dated 08-03-2016 said to have been submitted by the petitioners herein, in accordance with law, within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Miscellaneous Petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
