HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE GUDISEVA SHYAM PRASAD CRIMINAL PETITION No. 7329 of 2011 O R D E R:

The criminal petition is filed seeking to quash the Proceedings in CC No.195 of 2009 on the file of the Court of District Judge, Vizianagaram filed against the Petitioner/ Accused for the offences punishable under Section 498-A IPC and Section 3 and 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.

During the course of hearing, the learned Public Prosecutor represented that the above case has ended in acquittal in the trial court and that there is no need to prosecute in the matter. Recording the above submission, the Criminal Petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs.

Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this Criminal Petition shall stand dismissed.
