THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAMALINGESWARA RAO WRIT PETITION No. 44627 of 2016 ORDER:

This writ petition was filed challenging the proceedings, dated 13.11.2015, of respondent No.2-District Collector & Licensing Authority under the Arms Act, 1959, Chittoor District rejecting the renewal of Arm Licence of the petitioner in respect of SBBL Gun. Since there is a provision of appeal against the impugned proceedings, this Court is not inclined to entertain the writ petition, but gives liberty to the petitioner to file an appeal within 30 days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. As and when such appeal is filed, it is needless to observe that the appellate authority shall consider the same and pass appropriate orders within three months thereafter.
