THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE VILAS V. AFZULPURKAR W.P. NO. 9619 of 2015 Date of Judgment: 10.4.2015 Between:

Kshatriya Lakshminadh Singh

...Petitioner

And State of A.P. and others ..Respondents THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE VILAS V. AFZULPURKAR W.P. NO. 9619 of 2015 ORDER:

Heard learned counsel for the parties.

This writ petition is filed alleging inaction on the part of the second respondent in not releasing the petitioner's vehicle pending the crime.

On 7.4.2015 the learned Government Pleader for Prohibition and Excise appearing fort the respondents was granted time to get instructions. Today he has produced a copy of the proceedings passed by the Deputy Commissioner of Prohibition and Excise, dated 4.4.2015 whereby the petitioner's vehicle along with stock was

confiscated. The learned counsel for the petitioner, however, submits that the said order of confiscation was not communicated to the petitioner. Anyhow, the present writ petition cannot be entertained any further in view of the confiscation order having been passed. Hence the writ petition is dismissed along with miscellaneous applications, if any. No order as to costs.
