THE HONOURABLE SRT JUSTICE K.SURENDER CRIMINAL PETITION No.167O OF 2O2O ORDER:
This Criminal Petition is filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (for short 'Cr.P.C.') by the petitioners who are arrayed as Accused seeking to quash the proceedings against them in FIR No.25 of 2O2O on the file of Station House Officer, Nirmal Town Police Station, Nirmal, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 505, 17 I -A read with 34 of Indian Penal Code and Section 127-A ol OREURPA Act. 2.
On written instructions, learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that after completion of investigation in the subject crime, the police filed charge sheet before the Court concerned and C.C. No.2O2 of 2021 u,as assigned. Hence, the prayer sought for in the present petition has become infructuous. 3.
Recording the aforesaid submission, the Criminal Petition is dismissed as infructuous. However, the petitioner-Accused is at liberty to move this Court seeking quashment of the proceedings of the charge sheet.
