Bulla Manjulq v. Bulla (Ravela) Jagruthi Divya Sri,
THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE M.S.K.JAISWAL CRL.P.NO.8418 OF 2016
O R D E R
This criminal petition is filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. seeking to quash the proceedings in C.C.No.508 of 2015 on the file of V Additional Junior Civil Judge, Guntur, registered against the petitioners, who is accused Nos.2 and 3, for the offence punishable under Sections 498-A of IPC and Sections 3 and 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act.
Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the State. A perusal of the material on record reveals that specific allegations were made against the petitioners. The truth or otherwise of the allegations can only be decided during course of trial. I see no ground to interdict at this stage and quash the proceedings.
In the facts and circumstances of the case and as requested by the learned counsel for the petitioners, the criminal petition is disposed of, directing the trial court to dispose of the case as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, without insisting the presence of the petitioners / accused Nos. 2 and 3 on each and every date of hearing, except required for any specific purpose.
Miscellaneous petitions pending if any, shall stand closed. No costs. ------------------------------ M.S.K.JAISWAL,J DATE:17.06.2016 AVS
