THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE U.DURGA PRASAD RAO Crl.P.M.P.No.651 of 2015 in Crl.P.No.636 of 2015 AND Crl.P.No.636 of 2015 COMMON ORDER:

The de facto complainant and her counsel Sri N. Ashok Kumar are present. Accused and his counsel Sri P. Prabhakar Reddy are present.

Heard both sides.

The Police of Godavarikhani II Town Police Station laid charge sheet against the accused in Crime No.44 of 2013 for the offences under Sections 354, 324, 290 and 506 I.P.C., and the matter was committed and the case is registered as S.C.No.203 of 2014 and pending before the Assistant Sessions Judge, Peddapally, Karimnagar District.

While so, the submission of both sides is that the accused is none other than the brother-in-law of the de facto complainant (younger brother of the de facto complainant's husband) and at the intervention of elders, both parties have amicably resolved their disputes and that they are proposing to enter into a compromise and therefore permission may be accorded to them for entering into compromise and compromise may be recorded and criminal proceedings in S.C.No.203 of 2014 may be quashed.

Having regard to the above said submission and considering the fact that the parties are the close relatives and they have amicably settled their disputes and living harmoniously and also considering the fact that no useful purpose would be served even if they are driven to trial and considering the unreported judgment in Bharti vs. State of Haryana and another[1] permission is accorded and compromise is recorded in terms of the accompanying compromise petition and consequently the proceedings in S.C.No.203 of 2014 on the file of the Assistant Sessions Judge, Peddapally, Karimnagar District are hereby quashed.

In the result, both the petitions are accordingly allowed.

As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
