THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE M.S.K.JAISWAL CRIMINAL PETITION No.12496 of 2016 ORDER:

The criminal petition is filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. to quash the proceedings in Cr.No.139 of 2016 of Chandanagar P.S, Cyberabad, registered for the offences punishable under sections 354, 420, 504 & 509 IPC and under section 3 of SCs & STs (POA) Act. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners/A1 & A2 and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, representing the State.

It is submitted by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor that the investigation in the above crime, which is sought to be quashed, has ultimately culminated into charge sheet and the same is pending before the competent Court.

In view of the above, the Criminal Petition is dismissed as infructuous. However, the petitioners/A1 & A2 are at liberty to work out other remedies available under law.

Pending miscellaneous applications, if any, shall stand closed in consequence.
